Protecting the health of your trees and shrubs is an important part of maintaining your landscape. Providing nutrients for your trees and shrubs in the spring and fall will enhance the overall appearance, and general health of your plants. CM’s uses a very thorough Plant Health Care Program, specifically designed to cater to your needs.
The Plant Health Care Program consists of four steps. First is the spring deep root fertilization that will stimulate root growth, and provide nutrients for the plant. The product is injected at a depth of 20-24 inches so the plant does not have to compete with your turf. Generally, you will notice a more-lively looking tree or shrub after the injection. If it is a blooming tree or shrub, you may notice more blooms that last longer.
The second and third steps are disease and insect sprays whose functions are to stem the growth of fungus and to protect against spring and early summer insects and spider mites.
The fourth and final step is the fall deep root fertilization. It is applied exactly as it was in the spring. This application will assist the trees and shrubs over the winter by providing nutrients they would not normally be receiving.
CM’s also offers other tree and shrub care services that are species-specific services, such as crab apple fungicides, and dormant oil treatments for evergreen material.
